SAN FRANCISCO – September 18, 2009 – Ubisoft today announced the official launch for the video game based on Columbia Pictures’ and Sony Pictures Animation’s 3D CG film, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The video game, available on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, Wii(TM) system from Nintendo, Nintendo DS(TM) system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC, is now available at retail in North America.

Gamers Will Bring Humanity Back to Earth in Summer 2008

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – January 3, 2008 – THQ Inc. today announced plans to release the WALL●E video game in conjunction with the film’s eagerly awaited theatrical debut from Disney•Pixar in the summer of 2008. WALL●E is anticipated to launch across all major gaming systems including the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, WiiTM home video game system, Nintendo DSTM, Windows PC and Mac, as well as wireless devices.

The long-running relationship between THQ and Disney•Pixar has achieved shipments of more than 35 million units worldwide. THQ’s current agreement with Disney•Pixar, which was announced in 2004, includes rights to create games based on four newly created Disney•Pixar film properties. Last year’s Ratatouille video game was the first property released by THQ under this agreement.

First EA-Published Titles Ever for Mac OS X

Electronic Arts Inc. announced that Battlefield 2142™, Need for Speed™ Carbon, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™ and Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars™ are now available to order for Mac users. These are the first games ever published by EA for Mac OS X, Apple’s advanced operating system. Users can go to the Apple Store (www.apple.com) to purchase the games today.

All games will also be available at Apple’s retail stores nationwide. Need for Speed Carbon and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be available on Tuesday, August 21, and Battlefield 2142 and Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars will be available on Tuesday, August 28.

GameTap Launches Mac Version

Intel Mac users gain access to hundreds of titles through TransGaming’s Cider technology

GameTap announced today that it is expanding its offerings to the Mac community. Intel-based Mac users now have access to GameTap’s Lite Player, which offers more than 500 titles to play from GameTap’s massive library of new and classic video games, as well as more than 600 streaming videos of original programming from GameTap TV.

“Mac users will now be able to enjoy hundreds of games that have never been playable on a Mac before,” said Stuart Snyder, Turner’s executive vice president and chief operating officer of Animation, Young Adults & Kids Media. “GameTap’s expansion into the Mac community reflects our commitment to being the premier destination for people who love to play games.”
