Giant Phish concert drug bust yields best mugshots ever
Ah, Phish.
A co-worker sent me a link to thesmokinggun.com’s 25 mug shots Virginia police took of people arrested for drug-related offenses at a series of recent Phish concerts.
Approximately 200 people, some reports say 194 and others say it’s even more than that, were arrested for drug-related offenses and authorities seized approximately $1.2 million in drugs.
Some doubt officers’ estimated street value of the drugs, but a police spokeswoman stuck by the numbers in a Hampton Roads Daily Press blog entry.
The photos are great.
Some look mad, others look amused and several look like they are in serious need of a bath. Others — and you’ll know which ones — look like the party’s still going strong.
My favorite is the one I call “the eyeball guy.”
