The Cyclones, as a group, hope to get their hands on a bowl bid soon. Their outlook, however, is uncertain.

Here's a sampling of current Cyclone bowl projections:

- ESPN's Mark Schlabach predicts Iowa State will travel to the Texas Bowl, on Dec. 31.

- College Football News predicts Iowa State is headed to the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl in Detroit, on Dec. 24.

- Sports Illustrated's Stewart Mandel thinks the Cyclones are headed to the Independence Bowl, in Shreveport, La., on Dec. 28.

At least a couple online pundits predict the Cyclones will be denied a postseason appearance.
