New store specializes in educational supplies

Scott and Rhonda Leuer have opened Schoolhouse Stock, a new Sioux City store that specializes in educational supplies.
The store recently opened at 1918 Geneva St. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Schoolhouse Stock carries supplies for teachers and other educators that include resource books, bulletin boards sets, trimmers, banners, posters, pencils, notepads, manipulatives, book covers, stampers and ready letters.
The Leuers both graduated from Briar Cliff University in 1992, with Scott receiving a business degree and Rhonda an elementary education degree. Rhonda has been teaching at Sacred Heart School for the past 12 years.
The couple have three children: Mikayla, 7, Mitchell, 5, and Madison, 2.
