King hosts ag hearing

U.S. Rep. Steve King will host a public Congressional field hearing on the farm bill at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the DeYager Room of the Dordt College student center. Members of the U.S. House Agriculture Subcommittee on Livestock and Horticulture are expected to attend as well.

The following Iowa producers are scheduled to testify: Remsen cattle producer Bill Scheitler; Manning hog producer, Dr. Rexanne Struve; Holstein cattle producer Mark Leonard; Inwood cattle producer John Fluit Jr.; Cleghorn soybean and corn producer Tom Oswald; Fenton corn and soyben producer Dustin Bollig; Odebolt corm producer Jim Meyer; Sioux Center corn, soybean and hog producer Matt Schuiteman; Floyd sweet corn, onion, hay, soybean and cor producer Steve Rachut; and Sioux Center grain producer Dr. Allan Kramer.
