Four new members join Morningside College board

The Morningside College Board of Directors elected four new members at its annual meeting last month.
The new members include:
Craig Berenstein, attorney with Berenstein, Moore, Berenstein, Heffernan, & Moeller, LLP, Sioux City, serving on the Finance and Investment Committee.
Galen Johnson, corporate vice-president and controller of Cargill Incorporated, Minneapolis, Minn., serving on the Institutional Advancement Committee.
Cynthia Moser, attorney with Heidman, Redmond, Fredregill, Patterson, Plaza, Dykstra, and Prahl LLP, Sioux City, serving on the Academic Affairs Committee.
Leah Winter, student body president, serving on the Student Life Committee.
Board officers include: chair, Richard Waller, president and chief executive officer, Security National Bank, Sioux City; vice chair Russell G. Olson, president and CEO, Liberty Banshares Inc., West Des Moines, Iowa; secretary Arlene T. Curry, NAI LeGrand & Co.; assistant secretary Dr. Angela F. Banks, principal, Lincoln Elementary School, Sioux City; treasurer, Ron Jorgensen, vice president for business and finance, Morningside College; and John Reynders, president, Morningside College.
Committee chairs{M3 include: Academic Affairs, Dr. Craig S. Wansink, chairman, department of religious studies, Virginia Wesleyan College, Norfolk; Finance and Investment, Garrett Smith, president, American Pop Corn Co., Sioux City; Institutional Advancement, James A. Walker, president and CEO, Heim & Walker, Minneapolis; and Student Life, Clifford E. Tufty, president, Motor Parts Central Inc., Sioux City.
