Humane Society plans offsite adoption day

The Siouxland Humane Society will host an Offsite Adoption Day Saturday. Animals will be available for adoption at the following locations and times:
-- Center Court of the Southern Hills Mall, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
-- Petsmart in Lakeport Commons, noon to 3 p.m.
-- Petco in Perry Creek Plaza, noon to 3 p.m.
All the pets will have received their basic vaccinations and deworming treatments and will be HomeAgain micro chipped. Adoptions also include a free vet health examination donated by area veterinarians. Free collars and leashes for puppies and dogs and free pet carriers for kitties will be included with all adoptions.
Established in 1889, the Siouxland Humane Society provides programs and services that promote the humane treatment of animals in Siouxland. Its shelter is located at 1015 Tri-View Ave. Persons who have questions about the event may call the Shelter at 252-2614, extension 7.
