Revenue Department offers tax classes

The Iowa Department of Revenue will offer tax education classes in western Iowa in the upcoming months.
Pre-registration is required to ensure seating and handouts. A nominal fee will be charged. The classes do qualify for continuing education units for tax professionals.

The classes will be offered at the following locations and times:
Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City -- Small Business Tax Workshop, 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 20; Iowa Sales and Use Tax, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 20; Contractor's Sales and Use Tax, 9:30 a.m. until noon Feb. 22 and Manufacturer's Sales and Use Tax, 1 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 22.
North Central College at Sheldon -- Iowa Sales and Use Tax, 9 a.m. until noon March 27; Contractor's Sales and Use Tax, 1 to 3:30 p.m. March 27.
Iowa Lakes Community College at Spencer -- Iowa Sales and Use Tax, 9 a.m. until noon, April 3; Contractor's Sales and Use Tax, 1 to 3:30 p.m. April 3.
Iowa Lakes Community College at Spirit Lake -- Iowa Sales and Use Tax, 9 a.m. until noon, May 15; Contractor's Sales and Use Tax, 1 to 3:30 p.m. May 15; Iowa and Minnesota Sales and Use Tax, 9 a.m. until noon, June 6; Iowa and Minnesota Contractor's Sales and Use Tax, 1 to 4 p.m. June 6.
