Ringsted man injured in accident

A Ringsted, Iowa, man was injured Friday in a two-vehicle accident northwest of Superior.
The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office investigated a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 320 Avenue and 140 Street Friday. The accident occurred at 12:55 p.m.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Gary Johnson, 42, of Lake Park, Iowa, was southbound in a 1978 International Semi. Gregory Fink, 55, of Ringsted, was also southbound in a 1993 Buick Park Avenue. Fink stopped on the travelled portion of the highway and Johnson could not stop in time and ran into the rear of Fink's vehicle.
Fink was transported to Lakes Regional Healthcare by ambulance. The sheriff's office said his injuries were non-incapacitating. Johnson was not injured.
Fink was cited for stopping on the travelled portion of the highway.
