Northwestern, Dordt in NAIA v-ball rankings

Northwestern and College of St. Mary were tied for 14th in the NAIA preseason volleyball poll announced earlier this week.
Northwestern is coming off a 33-6 season, while College of St. Mary was 37-9 last year.
Hastings, 35-8 last season, is ninth and Dordt, 28-11 a year ago, is 22nd.
National American University of South Dakota is No. 1 and Fresno Pacific second.
National American capped a 41-0 campaign by beating Fresno Pacific in four games in the NAIA national title match last year. Fresno Pacific finished 36-2.
California Baptist, the 2005 national champ, is third, while Georgetown (Ky.) is tied for 17th with Bellevue, Neb. Morningside will meet Georgetown in the Red Raider Classic at Northwestern next weekend.
