Seminar targets varicose veins
Posted: Thursday, September 27, 2007The causes and treatment for varicose veins will be discussed during a free seminar hosted by vascular surgeon Dr. Patrick Kelly at 10 a.m. Saturday at in the auditorium at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center.
As many as 60 percent of all American women and men suffer from some form of varicose veins, ranging from small spider veins to large bulging cords that run the length of the leg. Kelly will discuss simple, effective outpatient treatment options to minimize or get rid of varicose veins altogether.
