East High plans Financial Aid Night

East High's counseling department and Iowa College Access Network will host a financial aid night for seniors and their parents from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the East High auditorium.
The following information will be provided during the evening’s sessions: Filling out the FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), Planning for a Successful Senior Year, the College Admission Process, Scholarship Information, Choices Planner: Career Web site and How to Succeed in College.
College Planning Center representatives will be available to answer individual questions about the FAFSA form after their presentation.
Admissions representatives from Western Iowa Tech Community College, Briar Cliff, Morningside, Iowa, Iowa State, University of Northern Iowa, University of South Dakota and Wayne State will have informational tables set up throughout the evening. Military representatives also will be in attendance to share info about careers and college opportunities in the armed forces.
