What the Republicans stand for
Posted: Thursday, December 06, 2007
LE MARS, Iowa -- At this time I do not know who I will caucus for at the Republican caucus. What I do know is that the eventual Republican nominee will be for the following:
1) They will believe that less federal government is better and that better government decision making can be done at the state and local levels.
2) They will believe that private enterprise/capitalism fuels our American economy - not Washington, D.C., bureaucrats. They will also believe that small business owners and farmers should not be overtaxed, overregulated, and overburdened with frivolous lawsuits. (Yes, we still need tort reform.)
3) They will nominate strict constructionist judges who will practice judicial restraint. They will not nominate justices who will legislate from the bench by siding with the likes of Hollywood, Ivy League academia, TV news executives, and European socialists who all believe they have the moral high ground on all the major social issues.
4) They will be stronger and more successful in isolating, eliminating, incarcerating, and bringing to justice the Islamist terrorists. They believe the main battleground for this is on foreign soil and that justice is best served in our military tribunals, not our criminal court system where the Democratic trial lawyers will strive to provide these sub-human religious zealots all our constitutional rights.
5) They will understand that Hillary Rodman Clinton’s policies would score a big fat zero on the aforementioned points. -- William Young

Do republicans really support the inept, corrupt, republican administration that is clearly the worst in at least 50 years and possibly ever? They certainly don't follow republican economic ideals. "
