Hull man charged with identity theft

A Hull, Iowa, man was arrested Wednesday for using another person's identity to gain employment at a Hull business, authorities said.

Israel Hernandez-Sanchez, 21, of Hull, was arrested by the Sioux County Sheriff's Office and charged with identity theft, a class D felony, and driving without a driver's license.

According to the sheriff's office, the investigation was initiated by a traffic stop. The sheriff's office said evidence obtained revealed that Hernandez-Sanchez used a counterfeit Social Security card with a number belonging to another person and a counterfeit identification card to gain employment at Van Voorst Concrete in Hull.

" yes another illegal stealing idenity, when we all learn that our useless politicians are doing us no good. they need to get with the system. i never even heard of idenity theft when i was a kid and i'm a 42 now. what a shame. "
