LYONS, Neb. -- The Rural Enterprise Assistance Project, a program of the Center for Rural Affairs at Lyons, and the South Sioux City Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring Spanish business plan basics training in South Sioux City.

The training is for small business owners/managers or those interested in developing a business idea. The five-week training will be 5:30 Monday evenings at the South Sioux City Public Library meeting room, starting Feb. 4.

"What's in Your Business Plan?" is the focus of the Spanish business plan basics training course.

Adriana Dungan, REAP's Hispanic Business Center director and the Northeast Nebraska business specialist, hopes small business owners or potential new businesses can take advantage of this opportunity at this time, since it isn't offered locally that often. The business planning workshop series will include: marketing, promotion/advertising, financial management, customer relations and goal setting.

If interested in learning more about the workshop series or to register, contact Dungan at (402) 494-1013 or {M3adungan@msn.com. Registration deadline for the course is Feb 1.

Based on income eligibility, scholarships are available to reimburse the materials part of the registration fee.
