" Im a non-smoker that will love going into these bars and restaraunts and not have to be bothered by the smoke. But as a business owner i have a GOD and an AMERICAN given right to make the rules of my establishment. Not some fancy politician. Places like Applebee's have outlawed smoking in their establishments and i tend to flock there more often now and they did it without political say. I wish every other business would do the same, but it NEEDS to be THEIR decision. But as it goes, America is the free'st communist country in the world. "

" I support this because smoking a a nasty, unhealthy habit; as a matter of fact tobacco products should be banned (deemed illegal) because of all the hte health risks - not only to the smoker but also to the people around them (who breath that disgusting smoke). "

" I dislike cheap perfume as much as you hate 2nd hand smoke, so lets ban that too. And then we can ban car exaust as well, it's bad for everyone and stinks, what about rotten eggs?

" I am an Iowa native and have always thought of Iowa as been a progressive state and usually on the cutting edge. I was quite disappointed on 2 visits last summer to find Iowa lagging behind Missouri, Oklahoma and Arizona all of whom You'd think would rank well below Iowa. "

" as a former smoker, i believe that smoking is a right granted to us by our freedom of living in the united states. i do not support this kind of "government running our lives" action!!! THE LAND OF THE FREE!!!!!! P.S.-BUY AMERICAN!!!! "
