Williams & Co. announces staff promotions

Williams & Co. announces the following promotions.
Aaron Prewitt has been promoted to manager in the Sheldon, Iowa office for Williams & Co. P.C.
Prewitt, a CPA, is a graduate of University of Northern Iowa, earning his bachelor of arts degree in accounting in 1996. He has worked with Williams & Co. since May 2006, providing services in income tax preparation for farmers, individuals and small businesses. He has 11 years experience in private and public accounting.
Prewitt is a member of the AICPA and the ISCPA. He resides in Sheldon with his wife Cindy and two daughters.
Matthew Daniels has been promoted to manager in the Le Mars, Iowa office. Daniels is a graduate of Mount Mercy College with a bachelor's of sciences degree in business administration. Prior to working with Williams, Daniels managed grain elevators for 14 years and worked with Anderson Accounting and Tax Services Inc. for seven years. He is a native of Austin, Minnesota and currently resides in Le Mars with his wife Deb and children, Maggie and Carter.
Ashley Diediker has been promoted to senior accountant in the LeMars, Iowa office. Diediker is a graduate of Briar Cliff University with a bachelor of arts degree in accounting. She began working with Williams & Co. in September 2005 and was promoted to senior accountant in 2007. Prior to joining Williams & Co., she worked with a CPA firm in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Diediker resides in Merrill with her husband, Jeffrey and son.
Lacey Andrews has been promoted to senior accountant in the Yankton, S.D. office. Andrews is a graduate of the University of South Dakota with a bachelor of arts degree in business administration and accounting and a master of professional accountancy degree.
Andrews began working with Williams & Co. in December 2005. She earned her CPA Certification in October 2007, and was promoted to Senior in December 2007.
Wes Simpson earned his CPA certification in December 2007. Simpson is a graduate of Coe College with a bachelor's degree in accounting and business. Simpson began working with Williams & Co.. in the Spencer, Iowa office in August 2005. Prior to joining the company, he worked with 2nd Story Software in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as a tax analyst. He and his wife, Amy, reside in Spencer.
