Megan Poppe, Avon, S.D.: A three-year starter at Avon High School, she's currently averaging 11 points, four assists and four steals for a squad that's 12-4 and ranked 10th in Class B. She has played for three state tournament teams.
Cross Country/Track
WAYNE STATE
Joe Chebul, Bellevue, Neb.: A three-year cross country and track letterwinner at Bellevue West High School, he finished 18th at last year's Nebraska Class A state cross country meet with a personal-best time of 17:05.73. He also competed on a 3,200-meter relay that placed fifth in last spring's state meet.
Adam Meyer, Papillion, Neb.: He is a two-time state cross country qualifier at Papillion-LaVista South High School who placed 17th as a junior (16:49) and 16th as a senior (16:56). He also competed at last year's state track meet.
Zach Pierson, Papillion, Neb.: He will compete only in track at Wayne State. He competed on the sixth-place 1,600-meter relay at last year's Class A state meet.

Grant Mowery, Owasso, Okla.: The 6-foot, 190-pound tight end had 14 catches for 178 yards this season at Owasso High School while winning first-team all-district honors. He served as a team captain and won the Jon Kolb award, an honor based on leadership, athletic ability and academic excellence.
Soccer
SOUTH DAKOTA
Ashley Oswald, Sioux Falls: The 5-5 center-midfielder was a three-year starter at Roosevelt High School and with the Dakota Gold Alliance. A captain for Roosevelt, she scored five goals in 2007. She was also a two-year captain for the Dakota Gold, which qualified for regionals five straight seasons.
Rhea Mason, Gretna, Neb.: The 5-5 defender was a four-year starter for Gretna High School while also contributing for the Elkhorn Inferno club team. She was a Nebraska ODP participant in 2005-06.
Kailey Schiffbauer, Omaha: The 5-5 defender was selected to the Class B all-state first team in 2007 while leading Elkhorn High School to the Nebraska Class B state title. A two-time Eastern Midland all-conference selection, she competed for the Elkhorn Inferno club team (premier level) from 1999-2008 and also played international soccer in Spain in 2007 with the Kansas City Bayern-Munich team.
Erin Bello, Fort Collins, Colo.: The 5-4 center-midfielder from Fort Collins High School had four goals in 2007. A two-year starter, she was also a captain in 2006 and 2007 for the U18 Arsenal Gold. She was also an ODP participant in 2005 and 2006.
Rheannon Hotvet, Savage, Minn.: The 5-3 center-midfielder had 23 goals and 22 assists in 49 career starts at Burnsville High School. She also led her club team, Woodbury Bluestorm, to an unbeaten record in the Premier League in 2007.
Sami Spokas, Aurora, Colo.: The 5-5 center-mid/forward had six goals and four assists while helping Grandview High School to a 15-2-1 record and to the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state tournament in 2007. With nine goals, she was a key contributor for the Littleton United club team that advanced to the semifinals of the State Club-Elite in 2007.

Sami Spokas, Aurora, Colo.: The 5-5 center-mid/forward had six goals and four assists while helping Grandview High School to a 15-2-1 record and to the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state tournament in 2007. With nine goals, she was a key contributor for the Littleton United club team that advanced to the semifinals of the State Club-Elite in 2007.
