Journal to provide live coverage of Hyperion hearing

On Monday the Journal will provide in-depth live coverage of the Union County Commissioners' meeting, being held at Elk Point-Jefferson High School. The meeting is expected to draw a large crowd, and will include reviewing a request by Hyperion Resources, a Texas-based company, to rezone more than 3,800 acres of farm land where it is proposing to build a 400,000 barrel-a-day oil refinery.
Journal coverage online will begin at 4:30 p.m. and run through the end of the meeting, which is exdpected to take hours. Our coverage will include the following:
-- Live reporting in our news blog, updating the story as it happens.
-- A live video feed from the high school gym, including interviews with opponents and proponents before the meeting begins.
-- An updated photo gallery with images from the event as it happens.
