'Semi-Pro' scores just $15.1 million at weekend box office

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Will Ferrell's basketball comedy scored with some fans at the weekend box office but also left a few empty seats in the bleachers as it pulled down just $15.1 million.
Here are the top 20 movies at U.S. and Canadian theaters Friday through Sunday, followed by distribution studio, gross, number of theater locations, average receipts per location, total gross and number of weeks in release, as compiled Monday by Media By Numbers LLC:
