What about the soldiers?

SIOUX CITY -- 4,000. Just a simple number with not much meaning behind it. But it does have a lot of meaning when we realize 4,000 is the number of soldiers killed in Iraq. This number and the men it stands for aren't getting much notice.
We as a nation need to see that number everyday. Then ask the question, "Why?" Why did they die? Why isn't every murdered soldier's name read aloud for all to hear? Why did we let Bush send these men to die for oil? Why does a little country in the middle east affect our freedoms in this country?
Shouldn't our government worry about helping the people of this country first? To many questions and no REAL answers.

We owe our returning troops, and those in the field, a future. Too many are coming back without the training promised them, with grievous wounds, with scant hope for the better life they fought for. Let's get on our Congressmen and Senators and demand help for our GIs and Vets. Can this be done without
reducing the educational funds for the children of course. But we must not let anyone foist sham training on our men and women who have worn the uniform of the United States so honorablly, or interior instruction on our kids in grade and high school. "

Jose' listed five sources, I guess in an attemt to justify going into, and indefinately occupying Iraq??
We were lied to. There were no WMD! There was NO evidence connecting Iraq to 9/11! Saddam was no threat to us! This invasion and occupation has killed more people than Saddam did. Open practice of Christianity was pushed out of Iraq. Yet a few people here continue to blindly support the liars Bush and Cheney.
We honor our soldiers and their families for sacrificing for our country. Problem is, they are making ALL the sacrifices while our leaders are profiteering.
I have added my name on the petition to impeach Cheney and Bush at impeachbush.org "
