Unless you want to live in a bubble ...

SIOUX CITY -- This is in response to a recent Letter headlined "She's pleased with smoking ban."
The writer's answer was pretty one-sided against smokers. Consider this: Do you own and drive a car or a grill with charcoal? Do you enjoy a fire? Are you affiliated with any farmers who, by the way, poison our waters with pesticides constantly? Do you use or buy products made by factories, all of which produce many more air toxins than cigarette smokers?
If you don't want to be exposed to any of this, you'll need to live in a bubble or move to Antarctica. -- Wes Mahan

The majority has spoken. We don't like smoke, have been complaining about it for years and now finally shafted all you selfish smokers.
This is not government taking away freedoms. This is something that non-smokers finally forced government to do.
And for the hundredth time, you do not have a right to make me smoke what you've just choked up from your one remaining lung. "

I don't know what to tell you, cigarette smoke is one of those smells that is unmistakable and it only takes a tiny bit to be noticed. Again I say you have no idea how bad your sense of smell has become. I smoked for years. When I finally quit I was absolutely stunned at how well my nose worked and how much better food tasted.
