Your ignorance certainly is showing. Were you at the meeting wit the commissioner and local farmers? If you were, you should be ashamed for misrepresenting the converstation. If you were not at the meeting, you don't know what was said. I was there and that commissoner stated that if the project was passed that he would take advantage of the situation and try to profit from it instead of crying over spilt milk. You seem to be the one spreading dung. "

" All you people that are screaming for a no vote, are idiots. This project will boost the economy for all of Siouxland. Yes, a few farmers may be bought out and have to move but that's life. Change is a GOOD thing. Quit being jealous that it wasn't your land that was bought and welcome new industry to the area. No one ever said that you can't move. "

" Local - Your ignorance is showing BIG TIME. It's called the CRP for crop reserve program, and the land that is still in it around here is either wetlands or susceptible to erosion. That is why the govt. pays to keep it out of production. How many Hyperion workers will opt to live outside of SD while the neighboring states have a state income tax? Not many if they're smarter than you. And you don't have to be intelligent to be elected as a commissioner in Union County. You just need to know how to slap backs and play the good old boy game. Otherwise we wouldn't have one guy who changed his vote from what the majority of his constituents wanted because he was ticked off about a letter from ONE person. (And he was stupid enough to say that publicly!) Then theres the commissioner who is telling unhappy farmers to sell liquor from their location by Hyperion and they will make more money than they ever did farming. Gorillas leave large piles of dung behind too. Be careful where you walk. "

" So, hospitals should not look for more incoume to keep the doors open.
Everything we build will kill you!
Land in the CROP Program should not be taken out of the picture cause someday a farmer might want to raise a crop on it!
NO ONE in Iowa or Nebraska has a stake in this! DUH.. The county board of supervisors have never made a good decision yet, but they were voted in and probabley more than once.So sue them. DUH.. Gorillas eat Bananas! VOTE YES IN JUNE. "
