IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -- A University of Iowa cinema major says he was able to show his five-minute film at the Cannes Short Film Festival in France.
Producer Bob Zegler traveled to the renowned festival this month with writer and director Brad Bischoff. They promoted their film "Eyelids" to potential buyers and networks.
"Eyelids" was originally written by Bischoff as a children's book. It is a story about a young artist who falls in love with the prettiest girl in his art class and wishes he would live inside her eyelids so she will notice him.
Zegler says he doesn't expect the film to be purchased for at least a few months as investors review the book and film package.
