It's not 'Ice Cream Social Nights'

Posted: Wednesday, June 04, 2008
SIOUX CITY -- Awesome Biker Nights is coming up this month. Mothers should be smart enough to realize that if they take their 11-year-old daughters there at night, there will be some drinking going on. Last year there were some complaints about this. People, it is called "Biker Nights," not "Ice Cream Social Nights." This year, if you want your little kid exposed to "culture" on Saturday night, take her to an opera. -- Harry Cornish

" Loopy: What did I get help for? I am strong enough not to follow others, or give in to pier pressures. A strong person can handle daily life without downing a few beers. A strong person can have fun without killing brain cells. Loosing control of your bodily functions after drinking really shows how strong you are,LOL. Go climb back in your bottle and hide from your troubles. "

" Poor Brad needs to learn that not everyone that has a beer can't handle alcohol. Look Brad, I'm glad you got help but quit assuming everyone is as weak as you are. "

" If a young girl got "groped" or "molested", where was her mother or father? Did they let this child run around without any supervision? Do not bring children to adult activities. It's just stupid. If you want to go to an event that doesn't encourage drinking, go to church. Stay away from communion, though. They serve wine there, too. "
