DAKOTA DUNES, S.D. (AP) -- Gov. Mike Rounds says opponents of a proposed oil refinery in Union County should not expect to create lengthy delays in the project by filing lawsuits against it.
Hyperion Resources of Dallas, Texas, has identified a site near Elk Point as a leading contender for the $10 billion refinery.
Union County voters approved a zoning change June 3 for the project.
However, opponents have vowed to continue their fight against the refinery.
Rounds says legal challenges will not drag it out for long.
He says South Dakota courts quickly dispose of cases that can take years in other states.

Hilarious! You just go right along believing that this is all honky dory. Start doing some research on your own and you will find that it's more cost effective to add-on to a refinery than to build one from scratch. If you were looking to invest in a refinery you would invest in the Arizona one that is closer to breaking ground. And that refinery is having problems raising the money needed. "
