Heelan blanks Denison-Schleswig

DENISON, Iowa -- Sioux City Bishop Heelan's softball team evened its record at 13-13 with an 11-0 victory over Denison-Schleswig here Monday night.
Winning pitcher Jordan Johnson allowed just one hit, a single with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning, while striking out seven.
Krissy Neumann was 2-for-3 with two runs scores while Katie Neumann added a double and scored twice. Chloe Kambach and Sarah Parkinson also scored twice.
The Crusaders play a doubleheader at West tonight.
