Prepared Childbirth class offered

LE MARS, Iowa --A Prepared Childbirth class will be 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 12 in the lower level Conference Center, Room 1, of Floyd Valley Hospital. This class is open to anyone expecting their first child and interested in preparing for childbirth. The session will cover a variety of topics including: what to expect during each trimester, relaxation techniques, labor and delivery, parenting and taking care of a newborn. Please bring two pillows and a partner.

To pre-register, call the hospital at 546-3401 or 1-800-642-6074 ext. 401. These classes are offered as a service to moms delivering at Floyd Valley Hospital. There is a $25 course fee for moms not delivering at the hospital.
