The students will attend their respective host family's local high school for the 2008-2009 school year. Host families are responsible for providing meals, a place to sleep and a nurturing and safe environment. The exchange students are proficient in English and must maintain satisfactory academic progress while in school here.
All types of families are welcome to apply to host the exchange students, including empty nesters, older couples, young couples, families with or without children and even single parents. More than 400 students are coming from Austria, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Turkey, China, Korea, Thailand, New Zealand, Brazil and Colombia.
