Constitution written for individual rights

LAWTON, Iowa -- Re: Paul Guggenheimer's comment about more guns on the streets, guns will be easier to get, etc. How it will be the old OK Coral nonsense. Has the Gug ever noticed that in states where concealed carry was allowed, the personal crime rate went DOWN?
The Supreme Court decision is not about concealed carry anyway, it only says that handguns cannot be outlawed. How would the ban on handguns affect law-abiding citizens other than take away a method of in-home self defense? Do the criminals pay heed to the law? Uh, no, that's why they are CRIMINALS, Gug.
Further, my right to self defense is not granted by the state, it is my God-given right. Look in the Bible if you have one, you will find passages about, guess what? Self defense. Further still, if the Gug sees the Second Amendment as a group right, i.e. militias, do you also see the First Amendment as a group right? Where only your PTA or church can offer an opinion? Or do you enjoy freedom from illegal search and seizure? Or is that a "group" right as well.
No, the Constitution was written to afford INDIVIDUALS rights, Paul. Because when a "group" is given rights as opposed to individuals, it is called Communism.

Out of curiosity are you a young kid because that is the impression I get when listening to your posts. Slow down and think about what you are saying, it doesn't do any good to talk if know one can understand a damn thing that you are saying. "
