MCCOOK, Neb. (AP) -- Some southwest Nebraska pastors want to ease people's pain at the pump.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, members of the Red Willow County Minesterial Association will hold forth at Kugler's West B Street location.
The association will underwrite a price break of 10 cents a gallon on gas and diesel, and the pastors will wash vehicle windows and help cleanse souls for free.
The Rev. Jeff Thurman of McCook's United Methodist Church says the pastors think the day of discount is an opportunity "to get out into the community."
While love and brotherhood may be boundless at the station on Saturday, there will be a fuel limit of 15 to 17 gallons per customer.
