CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) -- A pretrial conference in scheduled for today in the sex abuse case against James Bentley.

The Vinton man is accused in Benton and Linn counties of molesting Jetseta Gage in 2004. The Cedar Rapids girl was 10 when she was kidnapped and killed by Bentley's brother, Roger, in 2005.

Today's hearing deals with charges filed in Benton County. But the hearing will be held at the Jones County Courthouse in Anamosa. Bentley is being held in the state prison in Anamosa on those charges and a federal court conviction for taking sexually explicit photos of Gage and another child.

Bentley's case in Benton County was moved to Clarke County because of pretrial publicity. His trial is set for July 28 in Osceola.

The Linn County case will follow.
