Criticisms of McCain
Posted: Wednesday, July 23, 2008
ALLEN, Neb. -- Isn't it ironic now that John McCain was questioned about whether he would make a good president just because he is a war hero, that Republican and Vietnam supporters howl and whine as Phil Gramm says the U.S. is a nation of "whiners"?
Where were these same people when John Kerrey ran for president and got taken down by the swift boat ads that were totally false and untrue? Why weren't these same supporters howling and whining about the ads? Oh, by the way, one of the swift boat people that made up this untrue ad is now one of McCain's top supporters.
For those people wanting more oil exploration, the problem is twofold. First off, even if more oil is produced, there is not enough refinery capacity to refine the oil at present. Second, the oil companies already have 68 million acres undeveloped under contract. Why don't the oil companies explore and drill under these contracts?
John McCain has said, don't talk to our enemies. Guess what President Bush has done? He has talked with the axis-of-evil empire North Korea and now is going to talk with Iran.
The problem with al-Qaida isn't so much in Iraq, but Afghanistan and Pakistan. There was no al-Qaida in Iraq until after we attacked Iraq. -- Warren Jensen

If he had any true regard for the troops, he could have left everyone behind and gone in by himself.
Unfortunately, Obama chose to disrespect the troops, and work out with cameras close by, and do an interview with surrogate CNN.
This man is an embarrassment to this country.
It is truly sad that 47% of the country is fooled by this fools empty speeches. "

The Captain who stated that they were not under fire has the statement in his record of all the boats being under fire.
Last but not least, Kerry's Statement clearly points out that it was not his words but the words of hundreds of Vets about the problems in Vietnam.
Note: Kerry went to Vietnam twice because he was sent to train on the boats in the States. "
