Aug. 1, classes will be held at the First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. The classes will include Muffin Mania featuring a baking lesson, woodworking, beginning embroidery and pop-up scrapbook.

On Aug. 8, classes will be held at Northeast Community College in South Sioux City and will feature beaded jewelry making, glass etching, computers and spool knitting.

Classes begin at 9 a.m. and end by 4:30 p.m. Children can sign up for one or several of the classes.

Costs for the individual classes range from $5 to $10. Children can also come for all day and attend all the classes. The cost for the full day of classes on Aug. 1 is $18 and the cost for the full day of classes on Aug. 8 is $26. Kids will need to bring a sack lunch if they are staying through the lunch hour.
