Sioux Rapids man charged with identity theft

SPENCER, Iowa -- A Sioux Rapids man has been arrested and charged with identity theft after the Clay County Sheriff's Office determined he was using a different name at work, a release from the department says.
Jose Luis Lagunes-Ruiz, 31, was arrested and taken to the county jail without incident Monday morning, the release says.
The sheriff's office conducted its investigation after receiving a complaint. The investigation continues, and more arrested are expected, according to the release.
Identity theft is a class D felony.
