Obama can 'change this mess we're in'
Posted: Sunday, August 03, 2008
MERRILL, Iowa -- For the first time in my life, and I'm a great-grandmother, I'm excited about a presidential candidate.
I've always voted, but this year I'm encouraging everyone to vote for Barack Obama. I've been to two of his speeches; he impressed me as being honest and sincere. That will be a nice change.
I'm frightened for my grandchildren's future if things don't change drastically in this country. Our servicemen and women have been killed and torn apart for nothing. The Iraqis are still killing each other, so what have we accomplished? Well, the contractors in Iraq are getting rich.
Think about it - each one of us has the power to vote. Don't miss this opportunity to help change this mess we're in. -- Carol Stout

We are fortunate to have a candidate such as Barack Obama and I also encourage everyone to vote against the republican machine.Change is a very vague word but we need a new optimism and direction in this country. "

The fox is fattening the chickens up for slaughter, and Washington is warming up to the idea.
Former PBGC director Bradley Belt (the agency behind the flwed ERISA act doomed to die thinks it's a great idea.
Not that I think Obama will be able to fix our mess, I know he can't. You should know though "Belt, a former top aide to presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Senator John McCain, had pushed a similar vehicle to make buyouts."
Wall streets only question to you is do you want to assume a 45 or 90 degree bent over position. "
