O'Keefe trial moves to September

LE MARS, Iowa -- The trial for a Le Mars man accused of stabbing and killing a man in his apartment complex has been continued until September.
Jody O'Keefe, 35, was scheduled to face a charge of first-degree murder on Aug. 26. The trial has been moved to Sept. 9.
O'Keefe has pleaded not guilty to the Jan. 24 stabbing death of Samuel Toliver, 32.
According to court documents, O'Keefe allegedly stabbed Toliver, his former roommate, with a butcher knife in the chest and neck.
