District to take input on Lowell-area land sale

SIOUX CITY - A public hearing to take input on the sale of district-owned property adjacent to the former Lowell Elementary School is on the agenda when the Sioux City Community School Board meets for its regular meeting at 6 p.m., Monday.

Action items at the meeting will include selection of a delegate to represent the district at November's Iowa Association of School board's delegate assembly, and approving a bid for fitness equipment at East High School.

Superintendent Paul Gausman will also lead a discussion on curriculum research and public conduct on school premises.

The meeting is at the Education Service Center, 1221 Pierce St. in Sioux City.
