Wrong about war

JEFFERSON, S.D. -- Senator McCain should have admitted long ago he was wrong for voting for the Iraq war in 2002. Instead, we have McCain echoing the failed Bush policy, saying the U.S. will continue in Iraq as long as the president wants, even if it is 100 years. This is in spite of Iraq asking us to leave in a prudent and timely manner and in disregard of the desire of the American public.

It was ok for William Jefferson Clinton to be a draft dodger and Albert Gore Jr. to have accepted a cushy job as a reporter during the Vietman war, but Bush and Cheney are chided about their military service. The difference, Slick Willie is a Democrat.
I could go on and on, but you get the point. "

So, now that Obama is calling for a withdrawal based on conditions on the ground instead of the immediate withdrawal he promised you, somehow Bush is kowtowing to Obama's pressure??
Weren't you people whining about an 'open-ended war' whenever Bush mentioned withdrawal based on conditions on the ground.
You aren't flip-flopping now are you? "
