SIOUX CITY -- The city has red-tagged a South Judd Street house that was severely damaged in an early-morning fire.

The occupant, Heather Coyle, wasn't home when Sioux City Fire Rescue responded to a 5 a.m. call about the fire, at 233 S. Judd St., and reported that flames were visible from the rear of the single-story wood-framed house, according to a release from the Sioux City Fire Department.

The house, owned by Jerry Coyle, received severe fire and heat damage, the release says.

No injuries were reported, and the state Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause.
