FREMONT, Neb. (AP) -- A Fremont man accused of impregnating a 15-year-old has pleaded no contest to one count of first-degree sexual assault.
Two other counts against 36-year-old Ronald Bowers were dismissed Monday as part of a plea agreement.
Bowers' sentencing in Dodge County District Court is scheduled for Oct. 6. He faces up to 50 years in prison.
Court records say that on three occasions in 2007, Bowers gave alcohol to the teen, then had sex with her. A paternity test found Bower fathered her baby, which was born in February.
