Media's choice is clear

SIOUX CITY -- The media has done more digging and analyzing over John McCain's V.P. choice, Sarah Palin, since the announcement than it appears they will ever do on Barack Obama.

" I agree with VegasRage: "Their(sp)is a very real chance Palin will see power given McCain's age and health."
So true and let God's will be done. One more reason to vote Republican this year. "
Besides being one of the scariest thoughts I could imagine for our nation, it begs the question; "Are you hoping for misfortune to befall McCain so that your fundamentalist agenda can be backdoored into national policy?"
With so many Christians resenting the snow job done on them by the Bush / Rove campaign do you really think you can rally enough support for a replay? Real Christians are distancing themselves from this as fast as they can, with good reason. "

If you are contesting the "fact" that Republicans are claiming that drilling will have an immediate effect of lowering fuel prices I only have to refer to other posts in the same thread. To expand that to the national stage, I refer you to Bush's alleging that "Americans need immediate relief from fuel prices" and the many claims made by Republicans while staging their "sleep over".
PS: I support drilling anywhere we can find oil. What I don't support is hypocrisy and political grandstanding by the very party that has kept us from "real" energy independence. "
