'Spamalot' ticket pre-sale event planned

SIOUX CITY -- Tickets for Monty Python's hit Broadway musical "Spamalot" will go on sale during a special event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Orpheum Theatre.
The special promotion will include free entertainment, live music, Spamatizers, door prizes, and a special appearance from the Kingdom of Riverssance. The event will kick off the special sale before tickets are released to all Ticketmaster locations at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, "Spamalot" is the outrageous musical comedy ripped off from the film classic "Monty Python and The Holy Grail" with added elements of "Camelot."
The show tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. Flying cows, killer rabbits, taunting Frenchmen and show-stopping musical numbers are just a few of the reasons audiences are eating up "Spamalot."
The show has a limited engagement of seven performances in Sioux City, running Dec. 3-7. Tickets will be available at the Tyson Events Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com or by phone at 712-252-3434.
