The latest 'socialist experiment'
Posted: Thursday, October 02, 2008
SIOUX CITY -- The culture of corruption is alive and well under the helm of the Democrat-controlled House and Senate. The latest socialist experiment by Democrats Christopher Dodd and Barney Frank will cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars, if not trillions. Their oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac included demands that these companies guarantee home loans with no money down and interest only to their favorite kind of constituents. Hundreds of thousands of greedy people lined up for this new welfare freebee and the rest is history.
We also found out that not only will the money flow out of the Treasury to cover their pet project debacle, but it also has found its way into their own back pockets by the very institutions they helped to destroy. Mr. Dodd received the most contributions from the two government-run failed companies and newcomer Barack Obama was already number two in line.
Meanwhile, Charles Rangel, who heads the committee for tax policies for the entire country, wasn't paying all of his taxes.
Rather than any of these clowns stepping down from their lofty positions, I'm sure all will stay to muck up the bailout, too. Change? What change? -- Loran Joens

question and I wonder if that we will ever know. The DEMOGOGUES have been taught by Howard Dean, Chairman of the DEMOGOGUE party that it is alright to steal, lie, cheat or whatever is necessary to win control of the Whitehouse. Governor Sarah Palin has changed their objective and the DEMOGOGUES cannot understand where she come from and are in a panic now. Get used to it, McCain will be elected President and in 8 years the first woman ever will be elected President and she is Gov. Sarah Palin. "

"... blame the little guy who was sold a bill of goods by a greedy lender whose fine print made it almost certain the mortgage would be impossible to pay by normal everyday people.
Only Homer Simpson would buy a property he had no possible way to pay for.
You want me to feel sorry for Homer Simpson?
These were adults signing these mortgage Contracts. You have to learn that your each and every action has consequences. This is what being an adult means, accepting the consequences of your actions. I can have compassion for someone that makes a mistake, and I can pray that they learn from their mistakes as I do. I WILL NOT risk the future and safety of my family and loved ones for the mistake someone else made. That is where Compassion ends. "
