Johanns campaigns in northeast Nebraska

Republican Mike Johanns is bringing his U.S. senatorial campaign to northeast Nebraska today.
Johanns, former Nebraska governor and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, has events in Omaha and Fremont before making a stop in Burt County. He will hold an event at 5:30 p.m. at the Oakland home of Kelly and Marcie Lechtenberg.
Other candidates in the senatorial race are Democrat Scott Kleeb and Green Party candidate Steve Larrick. The election for the six-year seat is Nov. 4.
