Four GPAC volleyball teams ranked in national poll

The 12th-ranked Dordt College volleyball team is among four nationally-ranked teams from the Great Plains Athletic Conference featured in the NAIA poll released Tuesday.
Dordt (21-4) fell one spot from the 11th position where it was ranked last week. Coach Tom Van Den Bosch's Defenders bounced back from a 3-0 loss to 15th-ranked Morningside last Tuesday to beat Nebraska Wesleyan 3-1, then added a 3-2 win over Doane.
Northwestern (14-6) moved up a spot from 14th to 13th. Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch's Red Raiders, paced by GPAC player of the week Hillary Hanno and setter of the week Kaitlin Beaver, was unbeaten in three matches last week and entered Tuesday night's match against Dordt atop the league with a 5-0 record.
Morningside (20-3) stayed at 15th for the second consecutive week. Coach Rick Pruett's Mustangs went 3-0 last week.
Hastings (23-4), also of the GPAC, is ranked 19th.
