" Glenn, here's why the GOP is whining about ACORN--California Republicans arrested for voter registration fraud!

" Keith, ACORN is committing voter registration fraud. If there was no crime, they wouldn't be under investigation in 15 states at the moment. And, as I recall, Albert Gore Jr. fought to NOT have ballots counted from military personnel overseas. So much for Democrats wanting to make sure folks aren't disinfranchised by the voting process. " I have already submitted my vote for Obama/Biden. I am looking forward to watching the map turn blue from my living room.

You righties complaining about ACORN are buying into a fallacy. ACORN paid for bogus registrations, which speaks to their lack of management acumen, not their honesty.

Federal law requires that they turn in "ALL" registrations. They flag those that they can't verify or are suspect and bundle them separately. ACORN is the victim, not the perpetrator, and unless Mickey shows up at the polls on Nov 4th and attempts to vote 50 times, the only victim.

The discussion of voter fraud should center on who printed "1 MILLION" invalid absentee ballots and sent them out in Florida. When it was discovered, someone suggested that officials simply disregard the minor imperfection in the ballots and Republicans protested.

Then there are the thousands of phone calls that will be made to convicted felons telling them that they are not entitled to vote, in spite of the fact that most are. A few uniformed cops at the polling places will make sure that the misconception will be reinforced.

Why do Republicans hate voting? "

" I have already sent my vote in....I don't feel the need to go to the polls. My vote will count just as much as anyone. That way I can concentrate on helping my candidate win.

Obama/Biden '08 " "

" Not me...I plan to vote on election day so I see my ballot go into the box myself. In SD, if you vote early, your ballot still goes to your precinct. The people on the election board then open the envelopes and decide if your ballot is valid. They can reject it and you'll never know if you vote goes into the box or not. "
