Fire damages married-student housing unit at UNI

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) -- Officials say a fire has damaged an apartment in the married-student housing unit at the University of Northern Iowa.
No one was injured in the fire, which broke out Monday evening in the kitchen of one of the apartments. Damage estimates weren't immediately available.
Cedar Falls fire officials say the fire was quickly extinguished.
The investigation into what caused the fire is continuing.
