This is no time for 'indecisive novice'

SIOUX CITY -- Does anyone really believe that now is the time to put an indecisive novice in the White House? Even during the bailout discussions, Barack Obama chose not to lead but wait until a consensus was achieved before weighing in on the problem. That behavior resembles Obama’s voting “present” instead of yes or no while a senator in the Illinois Senate.
Interestingly enough, he chose to vote no on the Born Alive Infant Protection Act which provides care for survivors of a botched abortion. Which constituents was he courting with that vote? For you elderly people who are planning on voting for Obama, you need to consider this. If he was willing to take a stand against allowing babies born alive after a botched abortion, it is only one step away from him voting to take health care away from an elderly person who is so ill and is requiring expensive health care services to keep them alive.
This is a vote over worldviews. Obama’s worldview is very different from an average American’s worldview. His mentors were far-left people whose worldview is that America is a mean, capitalistic country that bullies its neighbors. The left does not believe America has a right to be a superpower or to be the protector of smaller democracies. They also are heavily invested in a socialist thinking which believes in the redistribution of wealth and in expansion of government to the point of taking over energy production and automobile production in order to nationalize the current privately owned businesses.
Barack s charisma is not a qualification for president of the United States. Good judgment and experience are. -- Linda Holub

"OBAMA is NOT a socialist" Correct. Technically he's a Marxist. "Look out" indeed. It is in partial measure though, so any gains in the take home pay of middle Americans will be offset, and then some, by higher prices as the "evil corporations" pass along their higher taxes.
Speaking of taxes, have you read Mr. Obama's plan to implement direct taxation of US Citizens by the United Nations? Senate Bill S2433. Check it out. Then vote McCain... "

On guns, since you concede a right to own them you must have in mind a criteria for the "some" that should be "registered". This will no doubt reflect the political nature of the 2nd amendment, and bear some relationship to your stated purpose for whatever "reasonable restrictions"you propose. Mr. Obama has failed this test; perhaps freed from defending his views you could simply give your own so we can compare the difference.
On health care: A fundamental problem currently is that identical services are billed differently, by orders of magnitude, to individuals and insurance companies alike as separately negotiated pricing. As both candidates plans deal with payment, and contain the false premise that payment will affect price, both will fail. The failure of McCain's plan will cause less damage. Sad, but true.
Factcheck.org is not what I'd call an unbiased source. I can't think of one that truly is...

Go to factcheck.org. They do a good job of fact-checking both candidates. They both lie, distort, and otherwise sling mud. However, I think you'll see that McCain's campaign has been far more guilty about spreading lies and half-truths than Obama. "

Obama did not refuse to salute the flag. What he did do was not put his hand on his heart during the National Anthem, which is NOT a requirement, though many people do because they were taught the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, where it is expected. "
