Woman ejected in rollover Saturday near Alton

ALTON, Iowa -- A Littleton, Colo., woman was injured Saturday when she lost control of the vehicle she was driving two miles north of Alton.
The Sioux County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that at 8:45 p.m. 24-year-old Amy Konradi was northbound on Highway 60 when she lost control of her 1999 Chevy Malibu. The vehicle entered the median and rolled several times, ejecting Konradi.
She was transported by Orange City Ambulance to Orange City Area Health System Hospital, and was later flown to Mercy Medical Center -- Sioux City. She sustained incapacitating injuries, according to the sheriff's office.
Alton Emergency services and the Orange City Police Department also assisted at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
